Debbie has extensive experience leading communications and engagement for complex multi-stakeholder projects in the public, private and non-profit sectors. Building on a background in broadcast and print journalism, Debbie specializes in senior level coaching in the areas of strategic communications, community and stakeholder relationship building, issues management, consultation and facilitation. She provides communications and engagement support to business process change projects and develops and delivers workshops that build internal communications and engagement capacity.
Debbie has successfully engaged communities around some of the largest resource and infrastructure projects in Canada, and lead collaborative processes to address significant health, social and environmental challenges. She is currently leading a Collective Impact process to address immigration challenges in BC’s South Okanagan and Similkameen regions (South Okanagan Immigrant and Community Services/Local Immigration Partnership Council).
