Ken is a Principal with One World Inc., a bilingual, Ottawa-based management consulting firm that specializes in effective stakeholder engagement and facilitation to create environments that support innovation and learning. He has 25 years experience in the development and management of complex initiatives in community health and community development at the local, provincial, national and international level.
Ken is able to draw upon a variety of approaches in his work with clients, including: strategic clarity, systems change, collective impact and developmental evaluation. He has a particular interest in helping organizations and collectives to explore and test new initiatives and ways of working to address complex issues.
Some examples of collective impact work include:
- supporting the development and testing of the A Way Home national initiative to support communities in developing strategies to address Youth Homelessness (awayhome.ca)
- supporting the development, expansion and evaluation of PHE Canada's Health Promoting Schools initiative across Canada
- assisting partners to develop a vision and structure for the Carlington Arts Initiative, an arts-based community development collaboration
