Bronwyn's approach to scaling impact leverages the framework developed by the International Centre for Social Franchising, a leader in social replication strategies. From open-sourcing to social franchising, federated models to joint ventures, Bronwyn is passionate about supporting organizations to identify and develop tailored approaches to scaling that maximize impact.
Bronwyn is an independent Social Enterprise Consultant, supporting non-profit organizations and social enterprises to reach scale through feasibility analyses, business planning, research and capacity building.
Prior to her role as an independent consultant, Bronwyn served as a Policy Advisor with Ontario’s Social Enterprise Branch in the Ministry of Economic Development and Growth (MEDG), as Senior Associate at the MaRS Discovery District, Canada’s largest innovation hub, and as the Interim Manager of SocialFinance.ca at the MaRS Centre for Impact Investing.
Bronwyn has been invited to speak about social franchising and scaling strategies by Social Enterprise Toronto and EconoUs2017. She currently sits on the Advisory Board of Wilfrid Laurier University’s Schlegel Centre for Entrepreneurship and Social Innovation and on the Policy Planning Working Group for the Toronto Community Benefits Network.
