Hugh Maynard is owner of Qu’anglo Communications & Consulting, an enterprise with a mission to provide quality consulting services for the conception and implementation of communications, training and development initiatives, specializing in the area of sustainable development for agriculture and rural communities.
Hugh has worked for and consulted with a number of non-profit and social enterprise organizations over the last 30 years to find and develop alternate sources of funding that fit with their mission and mandate. This includes diversification (i.e. additional projects), social economy investments (loans), re-structuring (creating a wholly-owned subsidiary) and new ventures (i.e. research activities). Hugh has contributed to these efforts as a non-profit executive director, as an external project management consultant, and as a consulting advisor (strategic planning and implementation). He was also a principal contributor in the creation of a federally-funded social finance initiative for the English-speaking communities of Quebec, and has consulting experience at the local, regional, national and international levels.
Previous Social Finance clients include:
- Coasters Association
- LEAD Canada & International
